When “Maa” is All I Need

Some days, I feel like a superwoman — ready to conquer the world, to tackle my to-do list like a champ, to shine in every role I play. I feel powerful, unstoppable, and filled with a sense of purpose that nothing can shake.

And then there are other days.

Days when I feel like caving in. When the smallest task feels like a mountain, and I’d rather pull the covers over my head than face the world. On those days, I don’t feel like talking, or doing, or being seen. I feel like slipping away from it all, just for a moment.

But then… I hear it.

“Maa… Maaa…”

That little voice, so soft and yet so powerful. It’s my daughter, calling me back to life. And when she says it with her little giggles and wraps her tiny arms around me, something magical happens. All the energy I thought I’d lost? It rushes back in a wave, stronger and clearer than before.

Because in that moment, I remember why I’m here. I remember that even when I feel like caving in, I have to conquer the world again — for her. For us.

Motherhood isn’t about always feeling strong. It’s about finding strength even on the days when you feel like hiding. It’s about those giggles and cuddles that remind you how much you’re needed. And how much you’re loved.

So on the days when you feel like a superwoman, go ahead and soar. And on the days when you feel like caving in, know that it’s okay. Because those little arms, that sweet “Maa,” will always pull you back up.

To the journey — and the magic in between, in every little heartbeat.
